The Lodestone is going to be under maintenance at the same time, but only for an hour.

I'm going to assume OP lives in UK? Idk, but UK peeps can get confused as we always refer to our timezone as GMT (Even have a show called GMT breakfast lol) but we're actually BST. So it is infact right now 9pm which is when the maintenance should start, but its 9pm BST, 8pm GMT.

If OP not living in UK then idk.

I can't wait to be let down by this patch.

I mean my expectations are really low right now, but I know somehow they'll find a way to make it more underwhelming than originally believed to be.

It's 40 minutes, not 2 hours >_> PDT is Pacific Daylight Time, so the same as Pacific Standard Time but one hour ahead, so relative to other places in Daylight time, it's the same difference, but if you're not on Daylight time, it's the same difference as PST would be.

Sorry if that's confusing. All you need to know is that the patch is about 40 minutes away.

I think everyone has low expectations, the only way they could mess it up is with a nerf.

I wouldn't be so sure given the track record of people on this forum. They SHOULD not expect much from this upcoming patch, but i'm sure we'll still see threads damning SE and all its employees because it didn't deliver whatever they think should be in there.

There's no way to avoid it really, even the major patches have been less than inspiring. If we had any hopes for what patches bring, we'd just be setting ourselves up for disappointment and frustration. The only way I can enjoy the game anymore is to just not hope for, or expect, anything from it.

Problem is, I bet like there are only 75 total people complaining nonstop over this game, but only 100 play it.

Also, I hope people aren't expecting the second coming with 1.17b.

That was a pretty popular opinion, was mine as well, but I don't think that's going to be a justifiable stance for too much longer. The last Letter from the Producer was an unprecedented piece of news. You did read it right? If its just that you don't believe what it says, then that's one thing. If you're not exactly enamored with the information, then that's another. But while those promises haven't been fulfilled yet, it's still the first time -so much- information in such specific detail was given. They're digging themselves an awfully deep grave to promise these drastic, and popular, changes if they have no intention of delivering them. 1.) I don't really put much stock in words until I see action supporting them.

2.) I'm not exactly crazy about the addition of auto attack because there are skills like Pierce (standard attack, direct line AoE for Lancer) that I'm not entirely sure how they're supposed to work with auto attack. I hope they don't just remove them or something equally stupid, but I seriously expect they will.
