Where is the customer support?

I am still waiting for a ticket I made about a month and a half ago to get any response what so ever and also the follow up one I made a week later to make sure you got the 1st one. :mad:

Do you have people for customer service? Should we not make tickets?
I really want to know... :confused:

Yeah 2 of my friends are still waiting, if they didn't swap codes they still wouldn't be playing.

I submitted an email for customer support and they didn't get back to me until 2 weeks later. It regarded logging in, so, I was frustrated. I actually decided to log on their chat line and also call them at the same time. I waited an hour and forty minutes on both the chat and phone until someone answered the phone. It was ridiculous, but, if you're really wanting some help from them, from my experience your best bet is so call and wait an eternity.

I just got a response via email after waiting about a week telling me to call or use live chat. I fixed the issue myself in that time. No big deal but now that I am a subscriber I hope there are some changes. Just in case I have a problem I can't solve on my own.

Just call them then. I've had some great experiences that way.

The old customer support ones were Deleted & notification posted on forums, lodestone & e-mails.

Still no response to any ticket! Yet they ban a friend for having to much gil? What the hell?

You essentially need to call with your ticket number in order to get any help. Even if they respond via email, it will likely say "we cannot help you through email", haha. Prepare to hold for a while.

I doubt I can call them from Australia, I couldn't find a number.

You can, but it may not be worth the bill you incur for international rates.

I can only speak for NA, but our customer service groups are in dire need of improvement. Always have been for a decade or so now. I've never had email issues resolved and phone results take waaaay too long. Either they're not using their time correctly or they're severely understaffed. Also, their policy is years behind that of most customer service jobs now, demeanor wise.

This low low low almost not there customer support is not acceptable in a mmo of today. It's a major turn off for me with the game is part of the reason I find myself playing this less and less.

My friend have been banned since the free trial for previous 1.0 owners ended, and he has yet to recieve any reply on the 3 tickets, or any mail about the banning.
He got no idea why he was banned. He only reached lv 32 with about 40k gil or so.

And it might just be him and me, but finding a phone number for support in the EU, is just god damn impossible. Or any phone number for that matter... Hell, just a simple thing as live chat support, require you to go through several other pages of useless tips/support.

SE's support is just so freakin horrible outdated. I swear the support center is just 3 dudes, locked away in a deep dungeon, living on rice and water, and to power their PC/phone they need to take turns on a bike hooked up to a generator.

It does seem like they have very little staff and a whole lot of auto response emails. I feel bad for your friend :( I really hope something is fixed soon
