Love Producer's letter, but, DUDE, Where's my Mailbox ;(

Just as the title of this post says, I am very happy with the producer's letter, however, why no mention of a mailbox addition. Since before this game was even released, everyone has been asking for a maiblox, auction house, and mog house. Players have been asking soo long and soo hard that they have just stopped asking. No, I am not having a random emo moment ( I save that for Ventrilo :cool: ), rather, this is my attempt at generating an actual response on the subject. I have read posts every now and then where there has been some random rumblings at the idea of a mailbox, however, that is always in Square Enix's crypted language that they have perfected over years and years of talking and saying absolutely nothing. Again, I am not ranting and raving about this, I just want to know if there is going to be a mailbox in this game, because I would love to stop bothering linkshell mates and ask them for 30 minutes of thier time to trade them items from my retainer at 4 at a time. I have played many MMO's, and many of them far from perfect. Some have been great, good, or just plain bad. All of them, however, have had a mailbox and auction house system at launch. I think it is time that SE stopped re writing the book, and started imbracing the basics.

there will be, but yoshi said there are some server side issues who need to be hammered first. It's probably the same reason there isn't an ah now (nor i want it, but the problem is that)

I too an very excited for when the mailbox system is added, and had hoped for it to be in this letter. But hopefully we'll get some word on this system soon.

As for the AH, I'm fine with the wards and would love for an item search by item category rather then by ward itself. But if an AH was added, I would like for it to be a true AH, where players bid on items and after the auction ended the highest bit would get the prize. :)

It's because of the people whining over a if they ever added a jump feature.

Just an interjection. "no" and "yes dear, that's nice, now go play with your little friends, mommy's busy." aren't the same thing. I don't think SE has said "no" to a lot of things but has classified them as low priority which is more akin to the other statement than to a no of any sort.
