Job-exclusive equipment

It looks like we are getting job-exclusive gear for the new upcoming jobs.

Do any of you wish to see any specific Weapons/Armors re-made/inspired from FFXI's jobs and other Final Fantasy games?

Specify which armor or weapon you would like to see re-made or inspired by for the future jobs and post a link to some screenshots too.

I would like to see something inspired by Cecil's Dark Knight and Paladin armors

Now I'm not saying to copy these but take inspiration from it just like they did for that black Mage armor Yoshi-P showed a couple of months ago.

Job would you see it on? I think it looks like something a Dark Knight could use.

It's a PLD sword and is in a lot of SE titles, here's it's FFXI form

Thats insane, I'd love to see it, though it would annoy me if it was "easy" something that insane with a wing should be extremely rare, even if I dont ever get it it will be such a spectacular seight when I see someone with it.

indeed. Could be the top tier armor for Paladins. Something that takes months of effort to acquire.

Yup and that is coming for sure... but what would you want to see that was not mentioned by SE yet?

Gunners/musketeers could use it but then again how would a weapon that fires multiple rounds work or fit in the game?

in FFVIII it was turn based, with short bursts each attack. so in FXIV, it would be short bursts, taking the appropriate stamina, and possibly using 3 or so bullets each burst.

Very true. Rarity in gear is a must for me. I don't care if I never am able to receive some pieces of gear. Just being able to see it one day on one player would leave me in awe and something to strive for. Make gear hard to get so they have some actual player value behind them and not just something that can be refleced by gil.

That's why we need rare gear to bind to the player equiping it. I'd hate to see SE make it so you can sell it in the markets once your done. You would end up seeing a bunch of players walking around with the rarest gear in the game and all they did to get it is buy some gil from chinese gold farmers....

I'm pretty stoked to see Tizona that Raubahn (sp?) has, was great in FFXI. Same with Death Penalty.
