Well apparently not.
I love the last cut scenes in the final story dungeon. People scream at me to skip them even though I don't mind watching them. So I go to the inn... and its glitched. I go to the duty part and its completely unwatchable. It doesn't click.
So the only way to see the cutscenes is through the dungeon where I'm screamed half to death to skip or get left behind.
I want to be able to watch them! >:[

There was a known bug regarding some cutscenes not always being watchable at the inn reported on the lodestone last week. So presumably they will be fixing this soon....

All I am saying is that the current grind is so boring it makes me not want to even do it
Now if I can get in a wp have everyone skip cutscenes and chain pull skip treasure boxes that drop 40gil and aoe down mobs and go hard on bosses
So that way you get in and out in less then 30 min
Now like someone else said cutting 1 min off a 30 min run adds up to a lot of freakin min when you run the same place over and over and over and over x100
Now look at this it takes 900 mythology tomes 5910 philosophy tomes to have a full set of dark light gear and your relic +1
Which is basically the min req for coil so that in turn means
590 runs of wp
I pic wp cuase as of right now thats the fastest place to get your tombs
So shaving 1-2 mins off of 590 runs you tell me would you like to see cs cut out after eve getting a quarter of the way throught that grind[/QUOTE] -

Point of the matter is, for someone's first run, there should be absolutely no pressure for them not to watch the cutscene. People seriously need to get over themselves when it comes to pushing runs that involve the storyline in any ways, most especially if they are resorting to the Duty Finder.
To allow the system to pair you up with any available individual automatically means you are forfeiting your rights to nitpick and impose extra rules on anything concerning the run you're offering on. This includes but is not limited: Forcing Speed Runs, preference to what classes fill what roles in the party, and forcing greed-only roles to get what gear you want.
Crossing this line in this makes you the offender in this case, and honestly should be grounds for a harassment report. Some people's primary reason for this game is the story, and the Duty Finder is the means in which they can achieve this. Harassing them because you're using a storyline dungeon for a grind is unacceptable. -

why not just put all the CS on a blue-ray disk and send them to everyone with a FFXIV account? Since speedrushers demand everything to cater to their liking? Or maybe the game was suppose to be played with CS to go along with it? Just a guess..

The grander point here is your monthly fee is not more important than the monthly fee of someone from a completely different server than yours. Duty Finder doesn't draw from a specific pool of people, it draws from everyone on every server wanting to do that content. If someone wants to watch a cutscene and you don't, then go ahead and rush forward. That person has no obligation to entertain your desires, nor raise you when those desires get you killed.

u should do what most of the group wants to do so if 3 out of 4 want to speed run u should do the same u can always run it again later and at some point im sure u can watch them it don't have to be your first run and is always the inn when it gets fixed :P

Back on topic... Watch the cutscenes as you do the event, at least for the story your first time. Watching them out of context kills the immersion and kills the pacing that the development team designed when they made the content. Enjoy them!
I personally said I was new to Praetorium and that I wanted to watch the cutscenes, and that if the majority of the group had a problem with that I'd leave the duty. First group had a problem so I left. They can get another tank. Second group had one complainer so I stayed and watched the cutscenes and really enjoyed it, unlike CM where I felt rushed and like I was cheating the whole way through. -
