Hello! I'm trying to look for a thread with BiS for BRDs, I found one but after reading all the arguments it seems the information stated on the first post isn't reliable. (I won't mention the thread here, but I believe some of you already read it)
So, is there anyone who can give me some links or guide me bit by bit?
I'm currently using a 4 parts Darklight Armors (Except Headgear which is AF2) and Relic Weapon. As for the accessories, I'm kind of lost there atm so I'm using Toxotes accessories atm.

Summary:
Allagan Boots, Neck, and Ring are the only three BiS drops from Coil.
(the Ring is only BiS because you can only equip 1 Hero's Ring)
The Boots and Neck both drop in Turn4 and we're not sure yet where the Ring drops.
AF2/Hero's/Relic+1 are BiS for every other slot.
But if you're raiding coil, you do need to be sensitive to the Accuracy cap as you replace pieces.
You wouldn't want to replace an Acc/Crit piece with a Crit/Det piece and suddenly realize you're below the Acc cap when you miss a [Blunt Arrow]. -

Of course, this is assuming you want to stay at the accuracy cap for turn 5. Some pieces can be swapped out for allagan to increase crit/dtr in exchange for accuracy for fights that don't require as much (titan for instance), but generally this is what you want to shoot for.Quote:

Crafted ilv70 gear can be better than DL in many slots, but IMO it's really not needed at all and, at least for me, wasting gil on it is not very appealing since it's not BiS.Quote:

I had garbage accessories so I got the hero ring and wrist before +1. Also because I was uncertain at the time of what was obtainable through Coil :/

Until Crystal Tower which should provide more option, only allagan boots, neck, ring are BiS.
AF2 is superior in every way.
Relic+1 vs Allagan weapon :
Relic give higher accuracy. Allagan has an higher dps on auto-attack and lower delay for auto-attack.
However they both have an auto attack below 3.3 so Allagan would actually be a dps loss during Barrage. -

Nothing wrong with crafting those 2 star HQ gears. In my case especially it's not a waste since I'm taking forever to max lvl my dragoon so I'm using my own Philo stones to craft my gear instead meaning I don't spend gil for it. If I haven't crafted the gear that I have right now I would've wasted those Philo tomes that I can't gain because of the 2k max.
Better gear means easier time in Coil which btw isn't exactly Ifrit/Garuda HM weapon farm. Waste of time coz they'll be replaced in 2 months? Are you sure your gears will be dropping every single Crystal Tower you do when it comes out? Are you sure you'll be able to find 23 other competent people for it? It takes weeks to get the non Free handout AF gears.
Crafted gears are exceptionally good because you can put all the missing stats in the DL pieces in them.

I went with i90 Myth Leggings instead. Might for i70 accessories and meld it with crit and Vit depending on the usefulness of it in CoB.

Better than Darklight as your second ring and for most players it would take a while to reach the point where they would be able to replace it with Allagan ring.Quote:
