If you verbally abuse or bully someone in the party, I'm leaving.
I'm so sick of watching scumbags treat their peers like dirt.
If you're one of these people, do the rest of us a favor and go be miserable doing something else.

I feel like you're verbally abusing me, I think I may go make a post about it because feelings.
I agree you shouldn't play with jerks. However, before you leave the party, please stand up to the abusive people and tell them to stop. They should leave, not you. If they won't, then apologize to the polite people and then leave.
I had this happen the other day. Someone was mad that a person new to the dungeon was new. I suggested the complainer leave so we could get replacement. They left. The group got a replacement. We beat the dungeon just fine with the new guy, and had a lot more fun.
Why did you need to make a thread about this?
I can find out at least 50 other threads the detail the same thing, how are you going to survive as an adult in the world if you can't deal with 'a few jerks'.
It's like people have no capacity to deal with anything anymore, they have to toss everything into the air and storm off.
Not being able to and not wanting to are 2 different things. Just because, as adults, we have to deal with jerks at work or what have you, doesn't mean we need to put up with them in a game, which is something most play to enjoy. It amuses me how not wanting to play with jerks in a video game means you aren't going to be able to make it in the real world.
So your solution to dealing with scum bags is instead of telling them they're scum bags you leave the group and potentially screw over 2 nice people?
Nice.
This other reply, conveys exactly what I was thinking;
Its less about 'you can't make it in the real world', its more 'How do you not have the capacity to ignore it'.
I've been dancing with fools for years, quitting doesn't make a difference, there isn't a "no jerk" button on the Duty Finder, you just suck it up and deal with it and try not to respond.
Make some friends...so you wont have to deal with that people.
Since the subs kicked in I had 6 friendly AK parties in a row only my 7th run had someone who was just mildly abrasive. I may just have got lucky but I'm hoping not! Usually I hate about 50% of the groups I get assigned too. Heres hoping its a trend!
Goes with MMO territory...and heed your own words.
A lot of these douches test the water first. That's when you should jump in and tell the guy to stop being a dick.
Commonly starts when someone does first CM run and watches the cutscenes.
Good thing about tanking is you kinda have a bit of power over the idiot being abusive so after a quick word they tend to keep their mouth shut.
Wait, what? Just turn your chat window to the combat log and finish the run. Ignore the jerks in chat and collect your rewards. You leaving the dungeon is not some noble act or justice, its just you forfeiting the time you had already invested, the run continues without you in a minute, and the jerk trolling you has just received positive reinforcement to keep doing what hes doing.
If I run into jerks in dungeons I usually just scold them for acting like a fool. If they still persist with the behavior I blacklist and report them for abuse/harassment. Maybe a short ban will give them time to think about how to treat other people, even if it is just on the internet.
They'd rape my ass too probably for tattling!
In this case, report them via the harassment thing on here. On a serious note: People on this game are pretty toxic but who knows
what SE will do for assholes. I feel like reporting them will do nothing but people have to stop.
It may be online and all but people have feelings and it's a game where we wanna make friends and have fun, quit being an ass y'know? Damn.
Sick of peoples around here sometimes. Lied too, people said the FF community is one of the best.
Meanwhile I am told to get cancer over Normal Titan. Screw me, right? When it is my 1st run.
Sorry but this topic goes both ways. The current generation of young adults are fragile and weak in both mind and body.
Its likely that someone is speaking plainly to you telling you what you are doing wrong and you end up with hurt feelings. This results in name calling and mom insults in response to cold direct things that you did wrong.
How about get some thicker skin and a bit of self-esteem MAYBE even a little bit of knowledge and skill about what you are doing, then when someone tries to be a dick to you, you are already many steps ahead of them.
Criticizing the OP for his post is childish he/she is trying to get a point across dont have to be $#$#$ hurt about it.....
Heh, the community reacts to forum posts like these just as well as they behave ingame.
"Hi um...I kind of don't like bullies..."
Response: "BLARHGLARB grow a pair bullybully derp."
OP: I try my best to ignore people. Only thing I can do if i want to keep playing the game. I can't force thousands of people to behave like adults. Wish I could...oh.. I wish.
Unfortunately in every MMO there are people who are mean and rude. So no matter what online game you play you wont be able to avoid it. Its a sad truth. Good news is you can blacklist people who are rude.
Oh, but i disagree, it certianly does, esp when it happens to them all the time. Hmm sorry to say if someone acts like a jerk im leaving, being passive about it is not going to solve the issue, if it happens to them enough they will learn and stfu. Its called child correction, and sadly its something that needs to be done with some adults apparently.
If somebody is being a jerk and verbally abusive, just vote to kick them ou...... oh wait.
