I'm so frustrated with server response times

I can't find anywhere to vent in the technical whatever forum, so I have to do it here

I've spent something like 7 and a half hours today trying to beat Titan, and no matter what I do it is basically impossible for me to avoid his AOE attacks, any of them at all.

This didn't really bother me until now because I could just take the hit and heal myself and be fine, but this boss his so hard and the fight goes on for so long that even taking 1 hit is devastating to the fight.

No matter what I do, unless I have sprint on and am already running out of the AOE before he even casts it, I can't get out of it. I can be all the way across the arena from it, and I'll still take damage. I never rubberband, I have excellent FPS, and I have 55 mbps internet speed. I tested it, and it's only giving me 51 mbps but that's still way more than enough.

From what everyone I've talked to says, this is pretty much a known issue, but I'm really surprised more people aren't complaining about it. This is the only thing that is making me question whether I'll keep playing.

I love this game so far, everything about it has been great, but there's just no point in continuing to invest in it, time, money, or anything else if the developers are incapable of making such an incredibly important part of any online service work correctly.

Say what you want about WoW, but it has excellent response times. Aion has pretty good response times. Rift has excellent response times. SWTOR had pretty bad response times exactly like this, which is the exact reason I quit playing it. PvP and PvE were IMPOSSIBLE when I have a 3-second delay (1.5 to show up on my screen, 1.5 to get back to the server) between every single action.

So why aren't more people complaining about this? It's driving me batty and IMO needs to be fixed before anything else is done at all.

I'm so frustrated I just want to smash something.

Totally agreed. I'm not that far but I had this on sunken and Bray as a tank where you need to avoid damage more or wipe. Not only is it embarrassing that people think you're a noob but it shouldn't be happening anyway.

Agreed. While it is bad for those living close to the servers, it is downright terrible for us Australians. Please fix this.

Trust me, there are a lot of people extremely frustrated by this that aren't subscribing. It's not just you.

And it's not something you can ignore... it's a gamebreaking issue.

You cant just bring up new servers at a location. It needs preparation time etc.. so just wait and calm ur asses lol

You aren't supposed to react to Weight, you're supposed to preemptively move.
Start moving 2 seconds after Tumult or 2 second after the Mountain Buster following bombs.

With that said, my group is located all over North America and none of us have issues dodging Weight, even if we react instead of preempting it.

I agree that Titan is hard, but all it does it test your reaction time, I've ran it and your reaction time has to be perfect to dodge his AoEs, What i hate is the stupid bombs, only thing I seem to fail on the most. But I do see where you are coming from. Titan HM zone has a Position lag. Some advice is run with someone who knows Titans rotation and have them call out what move he is useing next and start moving as soon as they call it out( need some kinda chat program for this. EX: mumble or vent)
