For warrior - +1 relic weapon or AF gear?

I've done a good bit of looking around and I can't seem to find a solid answer for this question. Right now I am full darklight with Garuda axe and I have no issues with threat so I feel like if I were to get armor first I can get more stats for fewer tombs. On the other hand I have no idea if I am going to start having issues with threat later on. Help me out please, I am getting close to a Titan kill so the decision is coming soon.

More dmg more threat is always good, and more threat mean, i can Change Rotation more to Storms Path for Little selfheal (i just hope that Thing will get a buff)

when it gets buffed you will have full AF2 and relic+1.

I would go for the AF gear. Its all about what you get in return for the amount of myth tombs you spend. lets think about it.

for 900 myth tombs you can upgrade to +1 relic.
from basic relic to +1 you get a increase in +2 dmg, +4str, +5 vit, +4 parry, and +3 skill speed

For even a cheaper price of 825(lets look at the AF2 chest piece). The benefit will be dynamic of what you are currently wearing right now of course. Lets say you are using the Hoplite tabard from AK.
Upgrade from hoplite chest to AF2 chest; +10 armor, +13 str, +15vit, +34 parry, and -17 skill speed.

If you are using the DL chest piece, you should combine the stats of both the AF2 chest and helm together compared to the DL.

I dont think getting a better weapon would be much of a upgrade for a "tanking" class, since many believe that vitality is crucial for endgame tank. Maybe weapon upgrades if you are a monk or dragoon.

And this is the problem I have been running into. I have the same thoughts as you about this. The only issue I have is that I need a helm and chest before I can replace either... Dumb imo but w/e. I have been looking at a ring and wanting to buy it since it just doesn't drop for me in AK, and the crafted one just doesn't seem worth the money. And hell even with the AK one the myth is just miles better. I guess my biggest fear is getting a bunch of AF2 gear while all my dps and healer have +1 relic weapon and me not being able to hold threat. I don't think that will be the case, but I have no idea as I don't run anything with people that have +1 yet lol.

I would save the Mythologies, reroll paladin and then spend mythologies on the paladin.

Rather not play the most boring class ever made. Just sayin.

Well then what is it you want to do?

If you want to do coil then i suggest you get whatever ups your important stats the most, AF2 chest or whatever replaces your ilvl60 greens.

If you don't see yourself doing bahamuts Coil in the near future then just spend it on what you want.

When you get your relic, holding threat from dps with +1 relics is not an issue.
