Nanawa Mines: Party member presence not recognized
Platform: Windows 7, 64-bit
ISP: TPG (Australia)
Type of Internet Connection: ADSL2+
Internet Connection Speed: Averages 6.5Mbps
Date & Time: 3rd May 2:33am AEST = 2nd May 9:33am PST
Frequency: Once, but has been reported in the past affecting the same character - http://forum.square-enix.com/ffxiv/t...t-next-to-them
Character Name: Thal Icebound
Race: Midlander Male
World: Figaro
Class/Skill Rank: Thaumaturge/32
Physical Level: 50
Area and Coordinates: Nanawa Mines (6,6)
Party or Solo: Party, 2 members
NPC Name: None
Monster Name: Wandering Wisp (present, does not appear relevant)
In-Game Time/Date: 02:33 10/1
Steps: Upon return to the aetherial node after the completion of one guildleve, the party member displays with their HP/MP as ??? as if they were out of range despite their presence being but 1 yalm away. The party member can be targeted, but any action involving targeting the member (ie: casting sacrifice or protect) is prohibited. The matter is resolved only by leaving the visible range of the party member (ie: moving sufficiently far away so that it should indeed be displayed as ???) and then returning back.
This appears to be a bug where in the game does not always properly recognize a party member being present in the area after a return or warp to the Nanawa aetherial node.
