[Suggestion] Necessary improvements to the party list

1) Your character has to be there, shown as a member of the party. Up-down cycling for heals and such is near-impossible because you never know the starting point. I'm presuming this is because your character IS actually somewhere in the party list.. and it's just hidden.

2) Highlight notification when using the subtarget cursor. You get a nice highlighting when targeting normally (which bugs out sometimes and stays highlighted, btw), but get nothing of the sort when scrolling with a subtarget. If youre unaware, subtarget means targeting with an ability instead of the regular cursor.

Just a few things that have been on my mind.

I actually forget to heal myself sometimes when in battle mainly because my HP bar is not with the others.

When I heal I tend to only look at the Party list, so I agree that the "your character" should also be in the list.

I'm fully in agreement, why not just add your HP bar to the party-HP widget where it belongs. While it'd stop you from having a fancy HP bar of your own at the bottom of the screen (like default, and since the party members' HP would end up crowding the middle of the screen...), it simply makes no sense having it separate for party-play in terms of function.

I have made my own health and mana bar smaller by dragging the edges and pulled it to the right bottom corner of my screen, this way when in party my own health is pretty near and not easy to miss ;). Just a tip.

What I don't get, and pardon me for sounding like another frustrated member, is you have 8+ years of MMO experience under your belt, and you [insert word here] this kind of backward UI.

1. Number the members
Reflex, players can immediately associate the number next to the party member, with the function key tied to that member.
2. More clear, brighter indication of the member that's selected.
Please recognize that in the heat of some battles, players move around, and for a supporting role it becomes primarily a UI-based system. No longer am I looking to see who i'm targeting, I rely on my UI to indicate everything. And yes, sub-targeting doesn't highlight members in party UI
3. Add me into the party list

Credit should go where it's due, i absolutely LOVE that I can move UI elements around my screen, and adjust them to size of my liking. This is a HUGE thank you :)

I agree with OP and everyone else who has posted so far.

It would be nice if they made the target icons stand out more. As it is now it's just an airbrush lighting effect that looks a lot like the action and casting lighting effects.

It would also be nice if they made the name of the claimed target red in the target UI. As it is now it's red only on the mob it's self but white on UI. When claimed and unclaimed mobs of the same type are clustered together it's hard to see if your on the right mob.
