White Mage

Just want to make sure I am on the right path for my White Mage. What two classes make up the White Mage?

Just a bit OFT question - do you find the White Mage beneficial? I'm a bit dissapointed by the "special" traits of this job so far. The same goes for Bard ... :( I'm heading now towards Scholar, Summoner and Black mage and just hope that would be a bit better.

I can only speak from the prospective of a Paladin, but my healer of choice is a WM. When I leveled CONJ to 15 for my requirements for Paladin, I had a hard time with the class, but I am a tank by trade. So DOM is not exactly my area of expertise. Though I always learn the important skills for any healer in a game where tanking is part of the game. I like to know what does what so I can make suggestions if my healer is having troubles in a dungeon.

(I never tell a healer what to do unless they completely suck at it. By then though, the DPS has usually rage quit so it hardly matters)
