Any RCN users?

I am on the NA server Balmung. Is anyone using RCN and NOT having major lag spikes that occasionally end in DCing? I have gathered from a few other posts that it might be how my isp is interacting with FFXIV, so I am checking here.

While FFXIV's GAME SERVER is not directly at fault, their horrendous hosting service, likely in a co-lo (a server farm in a remote location, saving costs) is at fault. They pay those fools pennies on the dollar to host their services, so they need to be on top of this. Instead, they are going about it as though it's a tiny issue, completely avoiding the fact that thousands upon thousands of players are having this issue.

FYI - My two failing hops are equinox-was12.ip.tiscali.net(206.126.236.19 and is the MAIN culprit) and xe-1-0-0.mtl10.ip4.tinet.net(89.149.185.41 and it sometimes fails albeit not nearly as often as the other hop).

RCN in Chicago. Major lag spikes, especially in instanced content. It's not just our ISP, though we are on the list of ISPs running into this.

Thank you much guys. Appreciate the insight. Mostly wanted to see if there was anyone using RCN who did NOT have this issue.

RCN also in Chicago. Consistent/frequent lag and disconnects.

Happening in canada with our providers also..

Still occurring regularly with no response from SE.
