So i purchased the collectors edition on 8/27/13. I managed to play for about 4 hours total, over 2 login periods.
I tried to log in today, and was asked for my registration code.... ?!?!?
I go to my Square Enix account page, and it shows my subscription for ff14 as INACTIVE.
HOW CAN THAT BE?!
Best yet, customer support is non-responsive. There is no phone line to call.... WTF do I do? I am near calling my bank to dispute the $50+ charge, as I have gotten next to ZERO service for my money.
$50 for game does not include service. you should have gotten another 7 days but that might require you to have registered your code to your account.
go back into mogstation and activate your service and/or get your registration code attached to your account.
It tells me registration code already used, as I already used it to activate my account.
And what do you mean it does not include service, I thought it came with 30 days free?!
Looks to me like you registered your pre-order code but not your actual game registration code as you got the pre-order bonus items but not the CE bonus items attached to your account, they're two different ones ;) It's exactly how it looked like to me when early access ended and I had to attach an actual game code to my SE account.
So maybe, just maybe, it's your fault after all - so please double check that you can't attach the code inside the box that came with your CE before going all rage mode.
If you pre-ordered then you got 2 codes.
1 for early access (which has passed) and 1 for the actual game.
You'll click the "Add Windows Service" or "Add PS3 Service" and from there add you're CE code. When I got mine in email it was for Windows and was 6 letters-3 numbers-
6 letters-3 numbers that said Digital Rights for CE. All together I think I had gotten 4 or 5 different emails after I pre-ordered so it was just finding the right code.
