Steps:
I logged on this morning and took note of the fact that I had around 65,000 gil.
While leveling my thaumager I was standing in Scorpion Crossing and had alt tabbed to talk to friends on skype. When I alt tabbed back in I continued to play, it was then that I noticed I only had 10 gil. I tried buying an item to see if it was just an aesthetic bug, got an insufficient gil message. I looked through both my retainers to see if I had somehow managed to entrust them with all my gil, they only had gil from my sales overnight. I tried relogging from the game to see if that would fix the bug, no such luck.

*I know my account was not compromised because I was sitting on the account when the gil disappeared, and nothing was purchased of such extreme value.
