Error 1012

I'm lost and don't know what to do. I'm on Masamune World so just had the 3 hours maintenance and now i get the Error 1012 and it says i need to update the client, but there is no update ; ;

How do i fix this ?

Thanks so much for anyone that can help me and i did look it up but there was no answere to the problem.

Is there a repair option in the login client? (cant check as i'm at work) might be some files were corrupted somehow.

That's strange... I'm currently not near my gaming pc, but what You try is navigating to your Documents folder and open the My Games folder. There should be a Final Fantasy XIV A Realm Reborn Folder there. Look for a patch folder and clear it's contents.

Be sure to make a backup of the Final Fantasy XIV folder before you do!

If you play on a PS3, you might need to remove Final Fantasy XIV installed Game Data, but since I do not own the PS3 version i'm not sure if that's correct.

Can anyone who owns the PS3 version verify if what I said is in fact correct? Thanks.

If I remember correctly, it was error 1017 which indicates that the server is full. I don't think I have seen error 1012 before, containing the message that the client has to be updated.

I think they are the same thing, servers are full. 10102 means unable to load NA/EU character list. From my understanding you get 1012 when you try to get in server while loading and get kick out. More information I found: http://forum.square-enix.com/ffxiv/t...93-Error-10102

I wish I knew what my error was when I was trying to log in the client. I only had that once. =/
