Ps3 fate grinds
Hi. I hope I can get some ppl backing this sorry if it has been brought up but, doing any kind of xecent fate grind is nearly impossible on the ps3. Monsters dissapear before player characters dissapear PLEASE fix this its serverly impeding the ps3 to the point ps3 players will have no chance of doing behemoth or Odin. give monsters priority to be displayed indefinatly over everything else I really dont wanna see 15 eggis and no monster and get 1 shotted by something I cant see. Hope I can have other ps3 players back me.

Bump.
This needs to be addressed.

It really does and thanks

Yes! I guess I am not the only one then. Also I dont know if its only me but if I ride a mount to a busy fate there is no one there on the the screen not even the monster. I pretty much have to get off my mount and wait for everything to appear and by that time the fate is over lol.

From what I gather, it seems that when you try to run a fate, when you approach the area, the game loads character models first, then moves onto processing the enemy models, essentially making it impossible to get the damage in to qualify for XP? I'm guess this is what you are looking for, I can understand how frustrated this can be when you are just trying to level up your character. From the sounds of it, you are hoping to get the game to process enemy models first, then process the player characters. I'm not sure how easy it would be to make a fix for this, I think a good fix would be to steal a page from Guild Wars, and restrict the amount of characters per zone, while sending excess to a overflow type server. This would alleviate the stress on your PS3, making it faster to load up character models moving onto generating NPC models.
I just don't think it's possible at this point to change the game to load NPC monsters to generate faster than player controlled characters.

Yeah...there seems to be issues with the FPS and it even get choppy. Someone gave me a good idea and it does help a little...in the options you can turn off effects by other players and party member as well. I have mine set at showing ALL of mine, SOME of my party members and NONE for others.
FATES are are just a SPAM fest for lancers it seems and melee...I consider myself a pretty good ARC (lvl 27 currently) and I still have a hard time targeting mobs with my filter set at enemy only. Once a while I can get something targeted and get some "Quick Knocks" off and wreck stuff up but it is very hard for non-melee player in a fate I agree.

An option to turn off other player's pets/minions would help a bit, too.

Yes, yes, yes! FATEs & Dungeons (sometimes, when there's alot of mobs) have this problem for me. In FATEs I may be able to get one or two but after that it's usaully finished. I've pretty much given up even trying to do them at this point.

Ive never personally had a problem with models disappearing on me while playing a ps3, but meh. bump.

It's basically the PS3 limitation, I think the game was programmed that was so our PS3 doesn't explode with everything happening. It helps to turn off the effects of people not in your party like Mikedizzy said. This thing can't be help, but I wish there was an option to prioritize on what objects to load.
