Really upset at how poorly this is being handled.

I know there are probably a thousand posts similar to this, but whatever.


This game was actually highly anticipated, because previous games have flopped terribly, so why is it having such hard launch starts?

First off, making a char is impossible unless you don't mind going over-seas for your server (which will cause lag, problems and , just no) Secondly even if you do manage to make a char - I got promptly booted mid-combat, then a maintenance started and now I cannot get back on due to "world full" limits.

What is wrong with you? The first problem is there is no Auto-Kick function, so anyone who manages to log in DARES NOT LOG OUT for fear of never getting back on. This should be corrected by a 5-15 minutes "idle" = Kicked from server function, very simple, in fact nearly every other game out there has it. (Idle will need tweaked to prevent things like spinning/etc the game can work it out)

This would clean up space when people are at work/school and "not really playing" allowing the rest of us to get on like a normal game.

Why hasn't this been made? Why are all the servers full or not allowing new character creation on it's LAUNCH date/week? This is when your going to get the most NEW PLAYERS in the first place, they need the ability to GET ONLINE or they will demand refunds.

Meanwhile, I tried for 4 hours today, every 15 minutes, to log in, only to get the "no room available" type messages (aka the World is full of Idle players) and now I have to go do normal life things, so I missed out on playing any today, and only got to play about 30 minutes before.

Am I satisfied? No. So far over a day of play time is wasted due to this huge problem, and if I can't play during at least 15 of the 30 free days - I won't bother re-subbing, and will get a refund instead, for failure to provide a product I can actually play.

Think I won't? Guess again. Buying a game the day it is released, it is expected to be able to play - unless something such as Emergency Maintenance occurs - having your "time card" tick away because they simply didn't plan out launch day well enough is the company's fault, and they will repay for the error or become targeted easily for lawsuit.

Square-Enix has never learned, this is why it is floundering in the gaming waters. The simple fact you have to "have a char' to post any tech problems is a redundant error in itself. Sony isn't looking too promising with their badly-designed architecture either, the PS4 is in for some seriously choppy waters to start off.

With these 2 main focus in mind - what makes you think a few signatures will do anything?

What are you talking about? This console generation will most likely be the best and easiest to program for because both consoles are using native x86 architecture just like a PC. Good job speaking out of your ass.

sonys foundation for the console is junk - even the head of Atari has labeled it as "god awful" basically it requires more translation then they have planned, and Sony hasn't been makin nearly as much money as they would hope for - so honestly their best option is to charge for MP like Xbox - but this will alienate their "free play crowd" fan base - so..... yeah.. Rough starts at best.


also the PS4s hardware bottle necks itself - smooth move. This means it performs worse and worse as it's left on longer. Sure you probably won't notice in 4 hour sessions of gaming - but hit it's breaking point and it'll stutter, lag, or even lock up.

Fundamental flaws overlooked because they were in too big of a hurry - sound familiar? lack of idle kicking system, fundamental flaw.
