Healed as a Scholar.

What's the problem? Serious question as I don't have my Arcanist high enough to do the job quests yet....
Confused to as what's the problem here as well. I ran Vale last night with a Scholar went very well. Although if I had to gripe about Scholar it is slightly harder to notice AoE circles when their various AoE heals are up. (Minor Minor complaint lol)
probably lacks the skill to complete it and is blaming others
I have a hunch, assuming that Vale still is similar to 1.0, that there's an inability for Scholar to remove poison?
I think it's due to all the AOE that destroys the Scholars pet and is unavoidable. The first boss places a dot on the entire party and the party needs to consume a fruit to remove the dot. Obviously pets can't eat the fruit, so they die.
It's not impossible, but I can see how it would be frustrating.
(If I'm remembering the correct dungeon...)
The bosses in Aurum Vale put a lethal dot debuff on all characters which can only be remove with fruits, as the stacks get up, it's virtually unhealable. Since pets cannot eat fruit, they are doomed to die, and that's a huge chunk of the summoner and scholar power gone. To resummon the pet, it is a six second cast.
And Sustain is such a pitiful heal at the moment that it just will not keep pets alive. The summoner also has no ways to remove debuffs off his summon.
I have had no trouble in other dungeons with summoner except for Vale. The damage puddles don't seem to be affected by the pet's base aoe damage reduction, and all the boss attacks, including lethal debuffs, affect the pet.
Cross class skills should be a perk, not a necessity. A 6 second resummon cast is not feasible when you either have to be bursting down eggs or healing people.
The simple solution is to have Sustain remove debuffs of the pet and increase its healing a bit.
