Do we know if there is anything that needs to be done in order to be able to get your free character recustomization/name change if you were unable to load the data you saved from benchmark? I haven't submitted anything but just want to make sure I don't have to. Any info would be nice thanks.

We have confirmed an issue wherein players were unable the load their character data from the official benchmark when changing the appearance of their FINAL FANTASY XIV version 1.0 characters.
In addition, we identified several display issues with the editing screen itself. Due to these display issues, players may have had a difficult time changing the appearance and/or character name of their characters.

What I am wondering is if we're going to have to report that there was an issue, or if they already know of accounts that suffered from this issue.
Right that was my original question lost in my garble. Don't want to wait till game launches and miss out because I wasn't sure. Hopefully they will let us know in a bit more detail soon.
Yeah I wanna know the answer to this issue. I had an issue at beta phase 4 it won't allow me to change the race of my Hyur to Highlander and I spent a great deal of my time remaking my Highlander only not to be able to save. This sux considering I was looking forward to this during beta. Where do I sign up?
