Legacy Player - Name Unchanged

I am a legacy player returning from 1.0. Upon first login in phase 4, I had the option to change my character. I did so, changing everything from race to my name. The appearance changes all took place without fail. However, my name failed to change.

Did this happen to anyone else?

I contacted a GM immediately Friday morning, but they claimed they could not help me.
I contacted the Square-Enix support website and was given a case number and told I would be contacted within 2 days. It has been 6 days.

I would appreciate some guidance if this happened to anyone else as to what you did to fix the issue. Or perhaps some guidance from a dev as to what can be done regarding this.

Lastly, I know we will receive the item "Fantasia" which will allow (at the very least) appearance changes. Does anyone know if it allows a name change, as well?

Hi there, same problem here. I have my new looks, but am stuck with the old name. A rep confirmed the vial will not allow name changing. So
hopefully SE can address this problem that some of us are having. Good luck!

Hmm, hopefully my trouble ticket number qualifies me as one of "those who encountered problems during the character change process".

I tried changing my name and outlook on my 1.0 character (although I wont play it for a few months) but got error 3102 after the whole process...After 3 times of trying and getting that error I gave up. Hope it's fixed in EA.
