benchmark doesnt use SLI so tbh you wont see much difference, if any. Might even see a decrease
more is always better you'll gain regardless of if its optimized or not.
>_> How did OP even force SLI to work on it at all?
Because to even make SLI work at all you have to go into the nvidia options and turn it on, then you just forget about it... or turn it off when something runs like crap in it...
Its actually kind of annoying when I had it. On an older build of the Unreal 3 engine editor, if I had SLI enabled... it ran like crap and had all sorts of issues, so I had to turn it off everytime I wasn't gaming and using that... was a pain.
The benchmark isn't using SLI correctly that is why the score is being dragged down when its on.
That's one of the nice things about SLI over Crossfire. Both worked fullscreen, how well depends. But when it comes to Windowed Mode, Crossfire won't work if it's DX9 Windowed, SLI will. DX10/11 both will however. So, in the end, it's possible to force SLI on for a given program, how well it works however...
Then again I've seen U3ED crash when a friend's keyboard was plugged into a machine. So that's not saying much. ;) Something about that keyboard which had an LED display would crash U3ED on any machine, as soon as it was plugged in. Pretty fantastic.
As numerous people have said though, you're not going to get any improved performance for the benchmark.
Lol that's hilarious, they fixed the SLI thing later on with the editor but I remember being really annoyed lol... cuz its like Go to settings >>> disable>>> wait for screen to flicker like 3 times >>> then close >>> use editor >>> finish with editor >> settings >>> enable sli>>> wait for screen to flicker 3 times >>> play game >>> rinse repeat daily....
Anyway no PM feature so sorry derailing into a U3ED talk. lol
