So I got that Beta email, I'm confused.

But I'm legacy... Have any other legacy members also recieved that email?

I think it means your on the "maybe" list

If so they could be starting the client download - It may take quite a while for all legacy players to get their email hours to maybe a few days, specially if they stagger it for fast downloads.

edit: Had no idea what "that email" was until some people later on showed that it was the "sign up for beta email"

You mean the sign up for the beta email? That was a standard beta sign up news letter email. It was just a email sent to everyone who has a account or to people who are subscribed to their news letter.

It's not tied to the beta test -_- it's a public announcement/newsletter reminding those that haven't applied to do so. It's not targeted at specific people (played XIV or not, Legacy or not etc)

Don't overanalyze this. We'll get updates on when the Beta test is actually starting.

It was a newsfeed but it sent me to where you do sign up (And I did) I hope that doesn't cause any issues?
