I created a bunch of videos of me wandering around FFXIV 1.0 to compare to open beta if you're really bored. No action in them.

I don't miss 1.0 at all.
<--gives Pseudopsia a ball of yarn for the awesome sig :3
But every end marks a new beginning....
Yep, that is what I like most about FFXIV. I think my fondest memories was from the very start of the game where we had to worked together to build an economy from scratch. I started as a black smith making tools for everyone, made me very happy people claiming their tools was made by me. I met most of my linkshell friends at the start of the game which started as a crafting LS then morphed into a NM hunting LS a month after NMs were introduced.
I miss it too. Even though I didn't login as much as I could have done, particularly in the first half of the year.
The old saying rings true in this regard I guess: "you don't know the value of something til it's gone."
Things I miss about V1-
My LS. ;(
Leading / supervising whatever our LS is doing at the time in Team Speak.
Explaining how to kill the Tree in pickup skirmish.
Secretly laughing at people who stack crit potency.
Trying to communicate in US early morning Japanese + Italian / French pickups, failing, but still getting the job done.
Chasing everyone out of wolf camp by sitting in the middle with 3 - 4 WARs. ;)
Leveling WHM thinking I would hate it, then becoming our main WHM and requesting it in pickups...
Joining random shouts for AF / Missions / Etc that I don't need to take a break from crafting or standing.
Shouting in Haiku. Sometimes for content, sometimes for lulz.
Shouting in Haiku
Can you demonstrate that, huh?
I want the lulz, please!
:D
