2.0 expansion or update?

So is this going to be classified as an update or are we going to have to purchase 2.0 as an expansion?

"Free" for PC users, PS3 Client you will need to pay for. :P

As others have stated. Current players will not have to buy 2.0.

It is a new game with new client you need to install

After 11/11 you can uninstall the old FF XIV from your PC

It's a patch at most, but also can be classified as an expansion, it's a upgraded version of FFXIV, if it was classified as a "new game" it would be called a "Remake" or a "Rehash" of the same game as the original but with upgraded data and new content



It's the same game, we are just getting a upgraded version

Its like FFX-2 and FFXIII-2 ...now its FFXIV-2 New game :P
