Food and 2.0

I haven't kept track of everything that has been said so is there any information out there for any changes/ impact on food in FFXIV ARR?

Don't have any hard facts on changes to the effects themselves, but I imagine Yoshi-P will keep there basic effects the same. Buffs over a longer time period compared to medicines, but weaker.

Culinarians and food connoisseurs alike,

We received some feedback stating that compared to HQ equipment, there are no real boons for using HQ foods. We brought this to the Development Team's attention and we were able to procure a bit of tasty information.

While reviewing the battle balance in A Realm Reborn, we will be looking into the benefits of HQ food. This is to ensure your highest quality dishes will rightfully power and inspire any hungry soul. :)

that's cool. However, recipes should be down-tuned in th amount of mats required. And more of that, most of its mats are from npc
