Melded Materia

It would be nice if you could see the melded materia glowing on our Gear.

<can we have it>

That sounds tacky.

Agreed with Taal, they didn't even do that in VII.

To be fair, they didn't show you changing gear at all in VII (except weapons). I imagine it was more of a graphical limiation back then. In the movie, however, they are shown in all their glowing splendor.

The materias themselves glowed in-game, the like 2 times you get a look at them close-up outside of the menu. And until XI I'm pretty sure the only changing gear was the weapons.
