Unable To Sign Up To Alpha, "The region is different."

Hi

Tried to sign up to the alpha test this morning and after I try and login I get the error "The region is different."

Other people from the EU have signed up without issue, any idea what this error actually means and how to resolve this issue?

Have to register with the same region your FFXIV account is

I don't want to create a new thread, but I'm getting another error - "You must have an active FINAL FANTASY XIV account to apply. ". I'm logged in on my EU account and I've even logged to the game a few minutes ago to check if it'll make the error message go away. It didn't.

Thanks Magnesium02, seems that Lodestone was directing me to the NA page for some reason and not the EU one. Odd.

Check the top right corner of lodestone. There are 5 flags. If the flag is set to america then you will go to the NA site, if it is UK flag then EU.

Ok, trying to sign in on my JP account, which doesn't have FFXIV messed up the process, but I've been able to sign in using my other browser.
