Remove Subscription Fee for NA Players.

With all the disconnects that NA players are experiencing. Since October most likely even before October, SE should remove the subscription for NA players till they can come up with a resolution.

So that everyone plays on their NA alts to essentially play the game for free? lol

Why would they? People are getting kicked left and right on a daily basis.

I mean, there's a decent chunk of the playerbase that does MSQ only and DDOS isn't particularly bad for that, albeit annoying. There's plenty of avenues for abuse there, including multiboxing and many more. Not particularly well thought-out.

NA players have been saying some ludicrous nonsense entirely unironically since the start of the raid tier, so I figured I'd treat it as sincerity for now.

Nah they are going to nickle and dime us for each DDOS attack. They aren't going to do anything. They don't care.

Then their only solution WOULD be a longer-term shutdown of the game after a Calamity.

Maybe they will sell us a mog-station commemorative basement dweller cosmetic outfit for $40.

Hot take. Use this time to touch grass and play other games. FFXIV will always be there whenever you want it. You can say moot point because new savage tier is out. Okay then data center travel somewhere else? I see most raiders are data center hopping to Dynamis because it has a smaller player count and is pretty unaffected by DDoS'ing, at least by the look of streamers not having problems. Also NA isn't the only people suffering from this, I raid on OCE servers and had constant DDoS'ing issues last night with the raid release. It'll be okay, gamers. They are having to deal with it everyday on their end, too. You don't deserve a reward for them having problems.
