Housing question? different houses

I thought you can buy construction permits from different zones and use them in your housing zone. I want a shirogane house in the goblet? Anyone know how to do this if it can be done

You will need to initially build the house with one of the designs from the Goblet, but can then change the exterior by going to social -> housing -> remodel exterior (while standing in your plot)
You will need to buy or craft the parts corresponding to the design of your choice.

For the interior you can buy walls and flooring of your desired style and/or choose the "minimalist" design to remove the pillars.

Alternative house walls (individual pieces and then also the FC workshop full skins) are craftable or sold on the marketboard. You don't need a whole new permit to swap them out.

I believe it also allows you to choose the actual neighborhood styles (pillars, bottom of wall trim, stairs, etc.) for the interior now too from the same menu, but only the minimalist option will have no pillars.
