Who else is excited about 'Fine Play'?

I decided to make a post, because I'm tired of reading shit about jumping and grass. Fine Play!!! Good old timed hits! Brings back memories of Super Mario RPG and Final Fantasy 8. FF8 wasn't my favorite, but I sure did love me some timed hits. The implications in FFXIV are limitless (hehe limitless. limit break. unintentional pun) and I can't wait to see what they do with this.

I put this here because I didn't want my reference to timed hits to be misleading. That's just how I envision it. What Currahee has described is probably more realistic and on the money.

It's like a DDR RPG.

One of the best Square RPGs out there. That was such a fun game.

Looking forward to hearing more about the Limit Break system.

If there's even a 0,5 second lag/latency/whatever similar, then no way, no thanks! Can imagine myself pulling out my hair, after imagining I had locks instead of a buzzcut.

Are we sure that's exactly what they mean? 'Cause if they bring that in, then by all means hell yeah I'm excited! Having active timing was one of the few saving graces that got me through the slog that was Lost Odyssey, so yes please.

We're not sure what exactly they mean, people are just wild with speculations :)
