I am bored.

6 months with nothing to do for the players. 7.1 only had MSQ, 1 beast tribe, the role quest finale and 1 special delivery NPC. The rest were for raiders specifically 1 Ultimate, Savage raids, Chaotic A Raids...

I am incredibly bored. I am incredibly mad and I am incredibly disappointed.

Glams in the majority look bad, ugly Sci-Fi jumpsuits and helmets that you can't wear
if you play Viera or Hrothgar, but don't worry they can go the whole a$$ marathon for Lalafells! Content is nonexistent unless you like to play for 2 hours a week. Or you are a raider who spams the same 4 raids over and over. The better fight design concept was tossed in the trash or Mistranslation TM. The Cosmic exploration is pushed for April in 7.21 and the Occult Crescent is being pushed for May in 7.25, WHY? Why would you push it for more, we do not need a break from the content, we just had a 6-month break!?!?! It should be released in 7.2! Who is making these decisions?
SE was boasting about all the content there will be for the 7.X cycle, but we are just going to skip the part that you have to wait for the first 8 months to even get to the most hype content of Occult crescent? Is this a joke?

Feel free to vent your frustrations. This LL was a straight-up joke at the players expense. And no one is laughing.

The biggest joke for me is the BLM changes tbh and its killing any hope I have left for the game. Since 7.0 all the changes they've done go against job identity, depth and player agency and the recent BLM one is straight up nasty. I find harder and harder to believe that in 8.0 the devs will deliver half decent jobs and without that I cannot see myself enjoying the game further

Don't worry, 8.0 will be the Job identity expansion unless that is a new Misstranslation TM.

All jobs got so homogenised there is 0 difference between them, but the weapon. Why should I play a DRG over a RPR? Or a BRD over a DNC? A few special effects? Different weapon? BLM was the only Job left with a semblance of playstyle choice with the speed mage build. And they gutted that in 7.0 and now they are going to gut it even more! Why do they need to make all Jobs play the same? Let there be jobs that are better at certain things! Let BRD have the best crowd control, let BLM choose slow and steady or fast and mobile, let the SCH have the best Dots, let WHM be the heal cannon!
Keep 1 of each role as the baby friendly Job and develop the rest! Majority who cry over not liking the old SCH with 2 Faeries and Dots galore, only unlocked the Job for glamour and a few achievements anyway!

I don't personally feel there is a lack of content, but they could do more with the casual content to make it more dynamic and repeatable.

The BLM changes do make it look like they aren't gonna restore job identity. But there's still a chance they could give people a choice between easy and hard playstyles if they make skill trees which they mentioned in the media tour. That's about the only chance I see of them ever restoring things like keep-up buffs or cleric stance.

Let Astro have RNG card system but doesn't matter now, I'll get the next rework in 8.0 in two years. Why bother with this stuff anymore? Usually I watch every LL, but since I realized it's just one disappointment after another, I don't care anymore. I really don't. Opened the forums, saw some screenshots and realized I have to wait another two months for somewhat interesting content (that will probably disappoint me anyway). I am not even surprised. At all. I used to be excited for this game, but now I am not.

I kinda wish they'd push back Savage instead. 7.1 was such a disappointment and now we're stuck waiting again. I really want to experience the new stuff but now we have wait until May.

Play another game, mind blowing I know, but folks really got to stop reducing themselves to a single game that drip feeds its content to such a degree. No no no, play multiple games that drip feed you content!

I HAVE! Literally played 8 different games in the meantime! BUT I PAY TO PLAY THIS ONE! So spare me with your play somethings else BS!

Well it was obvious that Occult Crescent will not be released until 7.25 at the end of may.

More disappointing is that the second (and last) map of the field content will not be released before 7.55, which will likely be released in may 2026.

I can only speak for myself, but it was not obvious, not when they had a 6-month content drought.
But I am going to give them this: having the last update for it be in 7.5x is going to make the period between 7.55-8.0 a bit more bearable.
