I am a great enjoyer of all the job sets, whether they're pve or doh/dol sets, and on top of collecting them I also actually tend to use pieces or whole parts of them for my glams (especially on crafters/gatherers).
- The lvl50 (item lvl 90) job sets unlike the lvl 50 (item level 55) ones cannot go into the armoire, and are locked behind lvl50 dungeon loot.
- The lvl60 job sets used to be behind tomestones in HW, and are now instead behind centurio seals, which requires investing to acquire them as well, and cannot go into the armoire.
- Augmented dyable gear in SB (anemos gear) and ShB (memoria misera extreme) also require a significant time investment to acquire and cannot go into the armoire, and aren't accessible from the calamity salvager either.
- All of the crafter and gatherer job sets are either crafted (lvl50) or behind scrip (all expansions), and cannot go into the armoire.
- Even when it comes for example to SB, ShB, EW and DT pve job sets, they're technically recoverable from Grenolt easily, but it is still a pain when I want to pull from those when interacting with my dresser and glam plates.
- Last but not least, we have gotten a lot of content rewards to get, notably from criterion/variants, or island sanctuary. There is also all the veteran rewards, collector edition items, etc. Those do not go into the armoire as well and they take a lot of retainer space or glamour dresser space.
If Dawntrail is going to deliver on the promised changes to doubling the actual rewards from content like that, I am actually very worried about where I'm gonna be able to actually store all of this. As a long time player there is just an impossibly high amount of valuable rewards that I hold onto that I do not want to lose or discard, that aren't behind the calamity salvager nor go into the armoire.
I beg of you, please do something about this. Would it be possible to link calamity salvager items to the glamour dresser like the armoire is? Would it be possible to consider ways to store all those item rewards? Would it be possible to store all job iconic sets into the armoire (even their augmented/dyable variants)?
This is becoming a serious nightmare in terms of inventory management right now.

Armoire generally holds only items that have been only only some form of quest rewards. Salvager generally only holds items that have some form of achievement tied to them. In some cases both of these apply such as event gear you got from the event quest. The version of artifact gear that goes to armoire was the original quest reward at 50 gear. The second version you now also get was the first script gear before they moved to more generalised a riot gear sets. Hence the latter doesn't go to armoire as it can be otherwise purchased. Centurio seals are easy to earn. Keep a stock of seals (just do a Rank B elite mark or two when you're in the mood for it) and purchase the gear only when you need it.
Anemos gear is one of the things I do recommend holding on to. I want the dyeability to be added much earlier in the upgrade process.
Memoria Misera is no longer a time investment, and people still want to run it to get the card. It was becoming trivial at level 90 and will only get easier.
Level 50 crafting is easy enough and even if you want to keep those, you should only be buying the pieces you actually want to use. Crafter scrips are poured at you like a torrent if you're doing things like custom deliveries or role storylines, and it takes effort to figure out what to spend them on so they don't go to waste.
Grenoldt et al. will hold the job gear for you, as you said.
Variant dungeon and especially Island Sanctuary gear can stay in its vendors until you actually need them. Sanctuary cowries are so easy to earn that you could just keep buying things as you need them and then discarding them once you're done.
Veteran and collector items do go in the armoire. -

So what you're essentially telling me is that I need to reinvest into and refarm things I have already gotten at some point? Every time I want to change a glam plate, or use something? A bit like in old times arcanist players had to respec their stats every time they wanted to swap between SCH and SMN?
Also your first line just goes a long way to show how differently we value the time we spend in game and the things we actually value the most. For example I do value a lot all the doh/dol gear that I use consistently for plates on all of them and this accounts easily for half the dresser already.
