Stuttering in fullscreen mode - caused by monitors?

I wanted to mention that since DT dropped, I've been noticing stuttering/hangs up to a quarter-second/half-second periodically every 15-60 seconds, and this happens exclusively in fullscreen mode, while also happening in none of my other games. I am running off an NVME so hard drive speed is not an issue.

If I switch to borderless fullscreen, the issue is resolved, but then I suffer less consistent FPS performance.

I then remembered that Windows 11 sometimes has issues with some games being run while multiple monitors with different refresh rates active. My main monitor is 240hz, my 2nd monitor at 60hz. If I disconnect my 60hz monitor, the stuttering is gone for me.

Is anyone else experiencing other forms of stutter/microstutter since DT?

Funny cuz ive been having the stuttering problem since DT in Borderless Window (I alt tab alot) and cant find a way to fix it. Also my fps drops heavily and don't remaining stable when I use Nvdia overlay, I tried to research and found ppl that linked the stuttering to several reasons but not a concrete or specific cause of the stuttering, in my case I think is related to the Internet activity somehow? Something I saw as one of the probable causes, I saw an increase in internet activity to 100% almost at the same time when a stuttering happens, something weird was also when I was gaming alone at home till my gf arrived and the game also started to stuttering and saw a bump in the internet activity, tbh idk how is this related at all but the stuttering its a know problem since DT

Dunno if it's fixed in win 11, but at least for win 10.

If you are using wallpapers with slideshow background, DISABLE "Automatically pick an accent color from my background" under Personalisation->Colours. Cause it for some reason causes entire windows to freeze up when the wallpaper changes.

It happens on Windows too? I thought it was just a Linux kernel issue. My last monitor was basic as can be, but it conked out when I updated my OS and was replaced with a low end gaming monitor. Since then, I can only play a little while before the graphics get super choppy whenever I move or look around. And before a gaming monitor, I could leave the game running for DAYS without an issue.
Guess they need to make the game actually playable for people. Again.

I have a similar issue that seems to be affected by resolution in full screen on my ASUS RoG Ally Z1E.
