New Job: Singer

I was thinking of adding new job that focus on singing with using different tones that is similar to shadowbringers astrologian
Focus on buffs heals and crits

Let's imagine their kit

Unfortunately there can’t be a ‘singer’ class because Bard exists. Even though it’s an Archer and only vaguely associated with music lol

Bard name is so misleading

the job latterly musician who scream art of war not a bard who actually sing

just imagine a party where singer bard and dancer in The Twinning.

I mean, Bards in Final Fantasy aren’t even supposed to be ‘Musicians’ in the standard ‘D&D Bard’ sense. Bards in Final Fantasy are magical poets with harps lol, hence the literal JP name for Bard is ‘Poet’.

I mean, I agree an actual ‘singer’ job would be cool, but I think they’d just say ‘we can’t do that because of Bard’ even though that’s not really what it is or was supposed to be about lol. Plus there’s simply too many people now who like the twisted mess of identities XIV calls a Bard, so I feel like there’s a huge backlash from them complaining ‘but we’re supposed to be musicians!!!’

as if SE care about our complains about job changes lol

I think if there are people who is interested in combat will enjoy changes like most people like monk
but people who just enjoy the game of what it is will hate it because they have to learn it from the start "as lazy people as they are"

Square Enix should find a middle ground to this issue

I always thought of Bard as more of a Musician.

Not all Musicians sing and play.

It would be fun to have Bard-Dancer-Singer in the game to form a complete band lol.

If so, I'm going to mute the other characters...

I mean we had Songstress in FFX-2 and our Bard doesnt really act like "Bards" in the FF sense.
So i wouldnt mind a Support Healer Character.
But in terms of buffs....fix Astro first.

It should require you to use your microphone and actually sing.

Final Fanyasy X-2 had a "songstress" job. Seems very similar to what was described.
