The randomness of Boss mech can cause vuln you can't avoid?

To start I don't like this expac, I unsubbed before the expac because of the job changes but had already pre ordered so decided to give the expac a chance. Completed the MSQ, the story was so bad I couldn't bring myself to play anymore. I say this to expose, I am bias.

With 1 day left of play time I did try to give the experts a go and they were well designed, I'd say amongst the best they've ever been done. However, I noticed what seems to be an issue and I'm curious if anyone else has come across. Due to the random ordering and stacking of certain AOE mechanics on boss fights, I believe you can end up in a situation where you physically cannot avoid a vuln stack. Now I'm happy to be proven wrong I only ran each of the dungeons a couple times.

It seemed particularly noticeable on the cactar boss, when he drops all the cacti and then does the expanding AOE move, certain configurations of these two moves stacking leaves you physically unable to avoid getting a vuln, you can end up with not enough time to get from one safe spot to another. Not trying to say it needs nerfing, It just appears that the random patterns being used with overlapping aoe mechanics might need some more work as it appear they can really screw you over. Anyone else noticed this?

Updated to clarify: I'm saying when it overlaps with the expanding aoe attack the mob does, there is a random order to the placement of the cacti and a random order to the aoe's that the mob uses and it seems some times these two can end up with a config where you physically cannot avoid one of the two attacks, as in one of the the two cacti or sometimes both with out the flower are smack bang in the middle of the bosses aoe attack telegraph so you have to functionally be hit by one of the two attacks. That's what I mean.

I mean, the dungeons are just "Harder" and mechanics happen faster, but you can avoid all of it.

for the Cactuar you just need to learn the mechanics there isn't really any randomness to it. you look for the cactus without flowers as its a smaller aoe. and for the others its mostly knowing what the boss does.
TLDR you can avoid everything.

No I get that that. There are no unavoidable mechanics in any of the dungeons.

There is not much randomness to it, there are like only 2 or 3 patterns he drops these aoes, and you can avoid all of em without getting a single vuln stack.

Yes you can. in both safe spots there is enough space for 2 ppl on each side to spread avoiding overlaping aoes, these aoes around player happen when there is no knockback mechanic so you have plenty time to adjust. I'm not 100% sure right now but as far as I remember aoes around you explode 1 sec after cactus aoes, so there should be even more time to adjust. just wait for cacti to explode and spread.

In that pattern, the radial attack goes off before the cacti explode. If you identify a wide enough safe spot near a non-expanding cactus, you have time to move after the radial AoE disappears.

Honestly I just let myself get yeeted into a non-thorn cactus rather than figure things out lol. As long as you only take 1 AoE from them you can easily recover the damage with Second Wind / Lustrate / whatever people who aren’t Bards/Scholar use lol.

You can avoid everything on that boss, youre missing something. Most dont notice this right away if at all, non-fowered cacti have small aoes. Cacti+kb, safe spot is in one of the corners, cacti+expand cleave, safe spot is right or left of boss next to non-flowered cacti.
