Viper feedback/thoughts

I wanted to add my voice to the conversation around the Viper adjustments.
I feel I am a pretty average player, I have cleared some Savage content in the past, have cleared all Extremes and have not done any Ultimate content.

At the moment I think Viper is one of the most fun jobs in the game. I find it a joy to play in combat and find myself fighting extra enemies in the overworld just because of how fun it is.
My favourite part of it is the busier parts of the combat, using abilities like Reawaken and the "Serpent's Tail" abilities. My enjoyment of the job drops very quickly when I am in content that is too low level to let me use these abilities as the job immediately grinds to a crawl.

The planned adjustments are vague but it sounds like there may be plans to remove the positionals on "Dreadwinder" or "Pit of Dread" combos, I don't feel this is needed but I wouldn't be upset by it if this was the case.

In my opinion there is not a lot of room on Viper for "Skill expression". You have things like holding Uncoiled Fury charges for times you can't be in melee range with a boss but beyond that it's mostly just being on the right side of the boss and maintaining your debuff on the target.

Given how soon the adjustment was announced I'm concerned that this may be an overreaction to initial learning curves of the job, as all the feedback I've personally seen has been positive.
I hope there can be more discussion on this before a change is made that may not be needed.
