INTRO (how it is now):
Since the mentor roulette has all sorts of duties in it, there has always been debate if this or that should be in it.
But I don't think that the number of duties should be reduced.
However, it is annoying to get for example a main scenario roulette duty on mentor when there weren't even any wipes or anything.
Why? Because those duties are very time consuming even when done perfectly, this is acknowledged in the rewards of said roulette. Mentor roulette provides fewer rewards while also not being able to choose the duty.
MY SUGGESTION:
When a mentor gets placed in a duty that is part of a roulette where they have not yet claimed the rewards, they should receive those simultaneously.
For example, if a mentor queues for mentor roulette and gets a msq arr ending dungeon like praetorium then it is treated as if they participated in the ms roulette as well. Have they not claimed that reward it is claimed and cannot be claimed again, have they claimed it already there will be no effect.
Further thoughts on consequences.
I think that doing so would make getting these duties feel less of a punishment. It also doesn't come at a cost in my opinion since they can still only claim the rewards once AND if they do not wish to claim said rewards on a lvl 90 class (as they would via mentor roulette) they can simply run the msq roulette first before doing mentor roulette.
At least I would really appreciate that and I think others might agree seeing as the frustration with getting msq roulette on mentor roulette is something I heard others voice as well.
I think not removing them is fair enough since having the mentors to fill slots can drastically remove queue times for sprouts and we do want to help after all but it does feel like getting cheated in the time vs reward department.
So, what do y'all think? Does that sound like a compromise?

An interesting idea. Off the top of my head i cant see any obvious exploits it would allow. We know the system can handle different rewards for the same content. How easy it would be to add i cant say. But interesting.

I don't think there should be a compromise. We are just not needed in DR:MSQ duties, period. The boss fights are simple and it doesn't take a mentor to sit there and watch cutscenes. There are plenty of people actually queuing for DR:MSQ for the massive experience rewards. They don't need mentors to fill those seats.
In the time the game forces me to sit through a 35 minute Praetorium they could have put me in two or three dungeons or trials where I actually mattered. -
