How many considering to even do the latest mount sweepstake?

It basically requires you to Retweet the Announcement post for their 10th year, and post your Character name and Homeworld in a comment.

But hey, if you want to deal with that..,
You might not get the Original Fat Chocobo Mount that is the main thing you would do that for.

I am not doing it. I like privacy and don’t want to associate my character information with any twitter account.

I'm not a Twitter user so it certainly won't be me.

Shame SE can't include all players in all their giveaways instead of forcing players to use Twitter. But then it's really about the marketing/publicity and not about doing something nice for the player base.

No - I don't really use Twitter much at all and don't really want to provide SE with a link between my in-game account and my other social media accounts.

The skeptic in me doesn't feel if I made a new Twitter with no followers that I'd be selected anyway lol.

Kind of the same thought, easy sell for those who have their characters already exposed, cause they make/commision art, or are "Content Creators" themselves.

I'd consider it, if the name I wanted was cleansed by them at this point.

What do you even mean 'exposed'? I don't know if you're trying to say you hide that you play XIV or what? I can't think of an actual reason to not just enter...

Would you rather have how it's been in the past? Buy something worth 20$ off of Amazon, magazine subscriptions, an app that not everyone can use cause they might not live in an area where that's applicable, or by giving money to a randomly selected twitch streamers channel?

Well, to be fair, while it could be worse - it could still be better too. I'd prefer an in-game survey or something as another option to enter - like we can give feedback rating new content or send in a sentence about what we like.

Exposed as in, letting others you don't want to see your interrelated accounts.
[Basically a preference thing, rather than anything as banal as shame for playing a game one enjoys.., I've talked about FFXIV with siblings and their grown offspring. it's more of the case not wanting the chance of potential strangers reaching. if I was to have a public account, it would be set up that way.]

TBH I almost pulled Critically acclaimed FFXIV on a siblings partner. but the conversation changed midway.., lol

edit: besides if I was going to set up a community or recruit, it would be a more person to person deal. Though I would have a typical Discord and maybe a public front.
But that's just extra info.

and yeah, the sweepstakes or incentivizing advertisements could be run better.
The large reason why we don't even have to spend money this time is cause its SE advertising their milestone.
Not a paid collaboration/advert with a company/service.
