About.... Umbrella Mounts

Wouldn't it be cool if you could dye the umbrella since its 24 dollar mount and unlike animal that would need to have walk/run animation done to justify the price


Maybe something like the special hotbar button that would play splashy animation and turn the umbrella into one random color of let's say 7 different presets.

You can't be serious with 2x $24 mounts that are recolor.
Please don't try to be blizzard and their missteps.

Recent shop items are maintenance mode quality. Guys you showed us you can do much better. Dont ask for permission to be awesome, you can do it :- )

Hi, I'm not even talking about new content necessarily. We can't even get a moogle event until shit's just absolutely dire. What's the rate on those, like every 9 months or something? Go look at how pretty much any other MMO operates, even the f2p ones have regular events going on to keep players occupied so they don't leave and start the death spiral. We get like 5 hours of content every 4 months. For a game that charges monthly, not at least having beefy monthly events during a content drought is just suspect asf. Look at how excited people are getting over the moogle event, and what even is it? An event where we run old content, to get items that are mostly already in the game, save one earring. This wouldn't take a long time to develop. Why can't we get something like this every month? I mainly edited to clarify that I'm not out here demanding new MSQ chapters monthly or something. Just give people who are caught up something to do that actually lasts, otherwise it's like "why am I paying for this"
The main point of the part you quoted was optics really. There's someone putting in monthly work for our monthly sub, but it's reflected in the cash shop because this game's basically a cash cow that gets updated 3 times a year.

And yet you have people saying that the game is "thriving" and on an upwards trend, logging in the game literally shows most people afk in Limsa doing absolutely nothing, and those are the people left after the 25% that already left over the past 3 months according to steamcharts.

In the 75% left, there are bots in thousands, alts accounts, people afking in Limsa every single day as they watch youtube or play other games, people doing ERP or going to venue, hanging out, and a tiny minority doing actual content, simply because this game absolutely has 0 content to do, it's an absolute bore, but you'll always have people defending the lack of content and even when it does come out, the mediocrity of it.

I hate the cash shop with a passion. Corporate greed in its purest form (of course including the items themselves being minimum viable products at best).

I was never bothered by cash shop. But recently, the cadence of very expensive shit and very dire state of the content... Yeah. Im bothered and I also start to hate cash shop now.

Then tell us. Why even new dungeon gear isnt even dyeable? They dont have time between all those cash shop mounts and outfits? :>

I have no idea why they released this as a cash shop mount since we already have umbrellas as fashion accessories. This could have been an in game reward, but I guess we should be excited to grind out the moogle tome event instead for stuff us vets already own.

I feel similarly. I had 0 issue with the cash shops existence for the better part of the last decade and have bought stuff from it from time to time because I've been mostly ok with the game until Endwalker became one let down after another.

At least it fits the "paypig" theme, keep providing us money while we give you the bare minimum if even that, that's the norm for SE this expansion.
