Fellowships have such wasted potential

I would love it if fellowships were given more of an FC-like treatment, for example:

- Allow people to join and leave at will, with member capacity larger than synchshells. Admins should still be able to ban people.
- Give fellowships a specific chat window, like synchshells but without needing to receive an invite. You join automatically.
- Let people from all region datacenters to join a fellowship.
- An instanced HQ location for each fellowship. Not necessarily with the housing system, but an isolated instanced area where fellowship members could teleport to upon joining. Maybe give it rudimentary customization options just because. No gardens or workshop, just a place to hang out at.

These are just a few suggestions, of course there would be problems and even better ideas. I just think fellowships could be much better than what they are now.

A what now? What's a Fellowship? Sounds vaguely familiar...

Yeaaah, that's exactly why this system needs to be revamped, LOL.

Fellowships can and often are used as a way to invite people into CWLS. They are a great way to start and advertise a CWLS or discord server.

At this point, we may as well just make FCs cross-world.

The point of fellowships was to find likeminded people and it is used for that to this day.

It's used to find a static or people who speak the same language, to seek advice on gameplay, to advertise discord, CWLS or RP communities, to find people interested in minimum item level content, to find europeans in NA, to find people to farm mounts with, to find some friends, to find people who play Mahjong. It really goes on.

You might think "but you can find that somewhere else". But new players with no friends who fell through the cracks and didn't join an FC or the Novice Network don't necessarily have any knowledge of the discord communities and websites that exist for the game. Fellowships can help point them to places they can form social connections.

People do check Fellowships because I and others had no trouble filling them to 1,000.

it's for casual players that dont know anything about discord or reddit
