SE alters WAR's abilities instead of buffing PLD (cus most pld's are whiney babies...)
THEN SE gives us a Weapon with +emnity while PLD gets +Refresh...

PLD needed a buff, instead they altered war, now... as a DRG I shouldn't be able to take hate from a Paladin/Warrior with an attack and a weapon skill, lets forget about a combo for now.

Right, clearly SE are taking advice from the players, and the players have the nerve to say SE hates the community... The "community" we have clearly doesn't like anyone outside of their friends lists or Linkshells.

What abilities did they nerf on war?

They didn't nerf WAR, they changed it. They reduced the range of steel cyclone but made it cost half the TP (not a nerf). For PLD, riot blade and goring blade were buffed.

They did nerf the emnity gained from Collusion, and changed the rate at which the Rampage attack speed/parry (previously attack speed/power, but it's a lateral move and not a nerf I would say) decayed. They also reduced the amount of damage granted to Steel Cyclone from Rampage. These are nerfs.

fair enough they got a buff to Riot blade and goring blade... but its not enough from what i've seen, that and it doesent seem like a major boost to Pre-50, at L30~ as a Dragoon i shouldn't be able to take hate away from the tank, or i was stuck with terrible tanks... not sure... (random example)

terrible tanks. I can tank fairly well on PLD, and we have a couple truly exceptional PLD tanks in my LS.

I actually disagree with this bit. As a DD you absolutely should be able to pull hate off a tank! Hate management is everyone's job, not just the PLD/WAR, and a DD who doesn't manage their hate generation should suffer the consequences. Otherwise why even bother giving them abilities? Just invite one to a party and voila, no one else magically gets attacked anymore!

DD's blowing their load early, pulling hate and dying are bad DD's, that's not the tanks fault. (I'm not implying that you are a bad DD or tank, but universally calling tanks bad because a DD ripped hate off them is categorically unfair.)

Thank you Kalien! couldn't agree more. DD's who call the tank bad because they drop 4 combos' in the first 5 seconds and rip hate, is just bad business. Hate management is just as much part of all the dd's job too, including AoE happy blm's who pop before the mobs even look at the tank lol

aha, but war did get nerf'd and I do agree DD's should manage their hate; however, pld should always get +enmity wpns, and if war gets +enmity wpn it should have a great counter balancing advantage, as the dmg war causes teeters on turning the mob from pld at any time. If war is supposed to be a finisher, then make it brutal yet tactical, which is what a warrior is. I think they should have called the warrior clan Barbarian or something.

If a warrior is filling a DD role, unless they're using their enmity increasing abilities, they won't pull threat off a tank. They don't really specialize in the single target damage area, their expertise is their AOE, which is why they're brought to Speed Runs.
