With the addition of Proto-Carbuncle... (summon/pet glamour)

CAN WE PLEASE FIX THE FACT THAT I SEE TITAN'S BUTT NO MATTER WHO SUMMONS HIM? Give me Proto-Carbuncle as a summon glamour, give me my carbuncles for my summons back. (Don't give me the "oh but carbuncle is still there" he does jack, or the "just use /petglamour" I've tried a million times since the expac dropped, and I got to 90 smn like day 2, and every time I cry. Try glamouring Ruby Ifrit, Topaz Titan, or Emerald Garuda before you say anything. yes I'm aware you can lower levels)

It's genuinely bad for the class experience to give them something then take it away the moment they hit max level, and I'm tired of this being ignored. SPEAK UP SMN MAINS AND CARBUNCLE ENTHUSIASTS! Well and those that don't like their vision blocked by even small titan.

Balance may be the current thing on everyone's mind but we also need to let them know this is unacceptable.

Titan works out hard for that booty kupo <3 let him show the glorious bronze glutes if he wants to kupo <3 jk jk :cool:

Personally I wish they would do away with the glam system and just give carbuncle a greater role. Why do we have ruin/ruin II? Why can these not be assault/assault II that orders carbuncle to use a GCD magic attack similar to stormblood? It’s the same result but now the attack is coming out of a pet (like we’re a summoner or something). The same could be applied to aethercharge, instead of us casting elementally infused ruins, carbuncle could absorb the aether of our summons to transform into ruby/topaz/emerald carbuncle and use new elemental attacks, again, same moveset just now it’s being cast by carbuncle instead of us.

I honestly think this would require more effort than fixing the petglamour to work on 90 Titan/Ifrit/Garuda. So I don't want to suggest it at the moment as that's a year or two out for a major rework I imagine given the glacial pace they've taken to balance this expac.

Also, I think you mean Shadowbringers. Stormblood still had the pets be sic/obey. I remember specifically that in STB you put up Garuda for the magic down debuff then swapped to ifrit and set him to sic. I know because I refused to do that since I'm lazy and the STB opener was dense as it was, and having to swap pets in the middle was annoying.
