July 4th 24 hr Maintenance

Come on SE, why haven't you figured this out yet? Bringing down the servers on a holiday for a major portion of your subscriber base is very uncool. :(

Kupo its not too bad don't stress my friend. It is time to enjoy life with a cold one and some good food! The game will be there when we get back ^_^ enjoy some good times kupo <3

Cause updates are always on mondays for patches like this no matter what is going on where ever in the world?

Go have some BBQ while you're taking a break for the day. It's not gonna kill you.

No stress here, I'll have alternatives for entertainment :D. However, this isn't the first time they've done this, scheduled a long maintenance corresponding to a major holiday, and I think a little light chiding over this poor customer service practice is more than fair.

If it's a holiday isn't that a good excuse to go out and celebrate? Go to a restaurant, meet up with friends, venture out for a bit of hiking or a run through the forest?

How many patches, in the history of the game, have been on holidays for other countries? And how many of those people have actually complained about it?

A day away from the game wont kill you.

Poor customer service because the game is gonna be down when people want to be loud with fireworks, probably drink at BBQs/parties with friends, and generally a lot of people stepping away from their computers?

Honestly seems like good timing, personally.

this is a gamer holiday for us so everyone be sure to enjoy it .

And given that this is scheduled maintenance, they couldn't adopt a more customer-friendly practice of not scheduling them on a day that coincides with a big holiday for a large portion of their player base? Hardly the first time they've done this, and won't be the last I'm sure. But clearly, I'm the jerk for calling them out on this. :D
