[Draw Weapon Emote]

Can we have the Draw Weapon emote not auto sheathe the weapon after a specified time, much link the drawn weapon button? (default Z on PC) ?

[edit]: actually, It would be nice if the auto sheathe could be disabled after the emotes: Draw weapon, battle instance, victory. After these emotes of would be nice if the character make the idle animation of the job.

You can do that manually with /cpose after drawing your weapon. If you sheath it in /cpose, it'll do it automatically next time you draw your weapon.

the auto sheathe will be off?

Character Configuration > Control Settings > Character > Auto-sheathe weapon when not in battle.

This will disable the auto-sheathe for any instance.

I wish these emotes works like the Z button n pc or L3 on PS4.

T-they do.
They don't have a different condition like you're describing, at least not from my experiance.
If I use /draw it will draw the weapon and I will stay in battle mode. If I use /sheathe it similarly puts the weapon away and I remain in uh... passive mode or whatever it may be know as.

if I use /draw, after a time the character auto sheathe it. If I press Z, after a time the character do a auto /cpose to idle pose.

If I /draw and manually /cpose , it changes and stays in the idle pose. BUT here is the thing, if I move, after a time it auto sheathe.

I wish the emotes that finishes with our weapon in hand, like : /draw /bstance /vpose does a auto /cpose after it, and not a auto sheathe.

I tried /draw and stood still for well over 2 minutes, never auto-sheathed it.
then I used /cpose and it changed it to the alternative idle-pose with the weapon drawn and I moved around, didn't auto-sheathe and went back to the alt-idle-pose.
I use /draw and move around and still doesn't auto-sheathe it.
And that's because I have turned off the "auto-sheathe when not in combat".

Same thing with /bstance and /vpose. They don't auto-sheathe after the animation is done.
Ever after I run around.


Why the weapon doesn't auto-sheathe when you use Z is because you manually toggle the weapon "on and off".
The emotes doesn't toggle that, it just playes an animation then goes back to normal since you're not in combat.
If you turn the auto-sheathe off they will stay out after the animations.

But still, I wish the auto sheathe for almost everytime, but when I press Z and using the emotes I said before :(
