I may not be the first to mention this but is it possible for the devs to adopt some mods and integrate them officially into the game? I think it would be cool if we can finally have visual mods in the game.

Didnt they say they were gonna update visuals next update or something what are you smoking.
Possible yes, Probable no.
yes but no. Though SE has been adding 3rd party plugins as their own thing a couple of times, actual mods will still be a grey area and actuall adding them officially would require dev interest first.
As nice as it would be for them to take on mods like taller au ra females, alt run animation for elezen, option to rename abilities to their proper ff suffixes etc, mods will continue to hold this domain for some time yet
too many console kiddies play this game, if it was a PC only game, mods would have been used for years. personally, as a PC user exclusively, i couldn't care less about mods in this game.
I really hope SE will be open to the addition of mods one day, even a sanctioned list they adopt and feel is safe and decent to use :o
There are very talented people out here in cyberspace regarding mods.
Things we have been told are impossible.....are obviously not.
From beautiful gear, unique customizations, vast improvements to UI options and countless qol changes.
Fresh ideas, fresh sense of style and taste, choice!!, so much variety and preferences could be possible. This is what any game could benefit from.
Please do consider in the future se, ♥
The existence of a third party mod that does something the XIV devs have said is impossible is not an indication that it would be possible for the XIV devs to implement. Third party developers do not have an obligation to ensure that all players can play the game with all optional features activated, on a minimum spec machine, within the memory and clock limitations of a minimum spec machine; nor do third party developers have an obligation to ensure that the features they implement do not break other features. The XIV devs do.
You realize that consoles are just computers with a specialized operating system right? Your disdain for console players is misplaced. They don't allow mods because they can't control the mods and they want to have full control over the game experience. They would have never allowed them.
But you know, PC master race and all.
