Thanks got that done and joined the group etc. now how long is the wait on the Linkshell message?
The linkshell message is merely a reminder, and is never necessary in order to start the next quest. If you know where to go to (usually The Waking Sands / Merchant's Ward) and what level it's unlocked, you can pick it up as soon as you meet the level requirement.
I think the first quest starts at 25 but I could be mistaken.
