Just a little feedback on the Reaper thus far...
I'm having a blast with the Reaper, but if I'm being honest, there are like two things that I feel really need to be addressed.
NOTE: My goal is ABSOLUTELY NOT to make the Reaper more powerful. Rather, these two things just seem kind of awkward and cumbersome to use, as currently presented.
1. Death's Design is SUPER unsatisfying to apply
It's a flat 10% damage increase. It's obviously necessary for boss fights, but it doesn't make me feel like I'm doing anything exciting when I push it. And because it takes up two slots (single-target & AoE application), it feels almost like ability-bloat.
I'd personally rather simply make it an off-GCD ability that deals no Damage but applies it via AoE), have it rolled into another ability (maybe reworking Harpe?), or even have it do some other kind of effect (ie. siphons health, deals poison damage, anything really). Or even just remove it.
2. There's no compelling reason to have TWO "Teleport" buttons
Hell's Ingress & Hell's Egress are effectively the same ability, and since they're based on direction faced (as opposed to your target), they just don't make much sense. Thing is, you HAVE to bind them both in order to use Threshold. I say, just have Hell's Ingress CHANGE to Hell's Egress (I'd almost argue the names are backwards, though) when Threshold is active.
That way, you only need one keybind, which is ENORMOUSLY important for us Controller-users. Not that the game needs to change to accommodate us, but I really can't think of a legitimate reason that Threshold couldn't simply apply to the skill you just used.
Otherwise, I'm honestly REALLY enjoying the class! Although I REALLY wish the Shroud Gauge was connected to the Death Gauge, in terms of the HUD setup. It's completely ruined the neat and tidy UI I spent hours fine-tuning...
