    Just a little feedback on the Reaper thus far...

    I'm having a blast with the Reaper, but if I'm being honest, there are like two things that I feel really need to be addressed.

    NOTE: My goal is ABSOLUTELY NOT to make the Reaper more powerful. Rather, these two things just seem kind of awkward and cumbersome to use, as currently presented.

    1. Death's Design is SUPER unsatisfying to apply

    It's a flat 10% damage increase. It's obviously necessary for boss fights, but it doesn't make me feel like I'm doing anything exciting when I push it. And because it takes up two slots (single-target & AoE application), it feels almost like ability-bloat.

    I'd personally rather simply make it an off-GCD ability that deals no Damage but applies it via AoE), have it rolled into another ability (maybe reworking Harpe?), or even have it do some other kind of effect (ie. siphons health, deals poison damage, anything really). Or even just remove it.

    2. There's no compelling reason to have TWO "Teleport" buttons

    Hell's Ingress & Hell's Egress are effectively the same ability, and since they're based on direction faced (as opposed to your target), they just don't make much sense. Thing is, you HAVE to bind them both in order to use Threshold. I say, just have Hell's Ingress CHANGE to Hell's Egress (I'd almost argue the names are backwards, though) when Threshold is active.

    That way, you only need one keybind, which is ENORMOUSLY important for us Controller-users. Not that the game needs to change to accommodate us, but I really can't think of a legitimate reason that Threshold couldn't simply apply to the skill you just used.

    Otherwise, I'm honestly REALLY enjoying the class! Although I REALLY wish the Shroud Gauge was connected to the Death Gauge, in terms of the HUD setup. It's completely ruined the neat and tidy UI I spent hours fine-tuning...

    They are not backwards. Egress means to exit, therefore it is the back step, ingress is to enter, thus the forward step.

    I disagree. It's similar to a DoT and it's the only melee that has DoT/debuff upkeep outside of their combos. They just removed SMN DoTs and I don't want another job to lose debuff management. 10% damage is obviously beneficial, it deals a bit of damage and it even gives gauge during trash pulls. Not everything has to make another button flash and glow.

    I like that there is no risk of accidentally double tapping the ability and being sent right back to where you started from.

    Kinda agree with Shadow of Death and Whorl of Death. Seems like it's just a GCD Debuff(Not sure why people are calling it a DoT, since it's not a damage over time skill, but a Debuff) to just waste GCD.

    Oh, and Soulsow. Not sure what they were thinking here... Instant out of Combat one time AoE attack, 5 second cast afterwards, which is a DPS loss if out of range compared to just using Harpe.

    I'm still getting the hang on it, but pre-cast Soulsow before an engagement and (most likely in EX fights/Raids) when there's a downtime between first and second phase you recast it since you're just waiting anyway.

    Yeah as someone who fights using legacy controls, I really only ever want to use the dash forward, as by the time im using the dash backwards, my brain has already started running my character away, and I wind up going the opposite directio from where I want to go.

    Back/Forward teleport is super handy.
    I've made many clutch saves with it and then I'm quickly back in the fight again without having to run.
    Although it's not that often I do like knowing that it's there just incase.

    It's a relatively high-value ranged GCD that can be banked and used if you're forced to disengage from the boss, but you only get a single usage per phase typically, so you need to optimize around it. It's meant to be recharged during downtime / phase transitions, not unlike skills like meditation. Personally I think it's one of my favorite parts of reapers kit.

    Well, I use it on CD right after pull to benefit being in time with AC. And I know you can charge it during downtime, and I do. But still seems weird to even include it just for that since as I said, disengaging from boss it's better to just use Harpe.
