Help - Grubhub Collab

So I was making an order for my family tonight, and found whether or not the ENDWALKER code was applied to be less than clear.

Full disclosure, my roommate picked up a gift card for me to use, and I got a couple meals for us. Subtotal was above $15, like the campaign specifies. Applied the code ENDWALKER and the page appeared to refresh and do something but there was no clear indication the code went through. A little nervous it didn't because there was no mention of it on the order page, or in my confirmation e-mail. I hovered over the "apply" icon and there was a note saying you needed to pay through Paypal or a credit card to apply codes, but I guess I'm unsure if "gift card" counts as "credit card", kind of like how "debit card" is usually in that same category too.

What did anyone here see when they made their order? Will I need to place another order this week?

The receipt should say something like discount code applied. The codes are sent out on the 17th.

I don't think I got a receipt outside of my order confirmation e-mail, and like I said there was basically no confirmation about the code I used...

I did ask about this in my FC discord though, and it doesn't seem to be an issue exclusive to the payment method I used. Person I talked to paid on a debit card and is basically experiencing the same thing.

I went through the promo website and GrubHub applied the ENDWALKER code for me automatically at checkout. The "Enter Promo Code" option said the code was valid and applied, but I didn't get any confirmation in my receipt, either. I have no idea if it worked or not and won't find out until the 17th. But since I ordered after the 20k "free delivery" deal there's nothing to discount on my order so... maybe that's why there's no discount shown? Idk. I hate using GrubHub anyway.

Nevermind. I just spoke with customer service and they said the code was not applied to my order. What a waste.

Oh my, now I worry for my order... which customer service do I reach out to? Grubhub, or FFXIV people?

I'm also questioning how people are supposed to apply it at all now, because my initial assumption of maybe ordering off my gift card as payment messing up whether codes can be applied doesn't seem to account for everyone's issue with this. I seem to be far from the only one experience this issue, so I wonder what's causing it.

I ordered too. Brand new account and ordered from their website. Applied the code. No indication it was applied anywhere other than getting the quick green checkmark in their promo code box.
Talked to two CSR's from GrubHub. One told me my code wasn't applied and to try on another order. The other told me my code *was* applied but I won't be able to tell.

There's some people saying GrubHub has told them the pizza codes themselves (not the free delivery) are all gone and no longer available. Either GrubHub doesn't know what's going on at all or Square is offering a finite amount of digital codes that sold out hours after the promo started.

I went to customer service and was told mine wasn't applied because I ordered pick-up instead of delivery. (It was a time of night where most every place for delivery was paused due to high demand)

I'll see if there's anything else I can do, but right now it looks like I'll need to place another order.

This, however, is kind of weird to find out. Found this under terms and conditions on the campaign page:

"Limited supply available (expect high demand). FINAL FANTASY® XIV Online “Eat Pizza” emote item codes will be assigned on a first come, first served basis while supplies last. FINAL FANTASY® XIV online pizza emote codes will be sent to eligible recipients via email to the email addresses associated with their Grubhub accounts."

UPDATE: Ok good news and bad news

Good news is that I talked to another customer service person, and it appear my code was applied

Bad news (?) is that this conflicts with what the last person said???? And now I have questions about how finite the codes are????
